The work was completed as scheduled AND at the price quoted before the job was started. No "hidden" costs or surprises. Very professional and highly recommended.”

“This place is fantastic. Someone had broken into my car and smashed the rear passenger window on my Toyota Rav4. After looking around, I happened upon Auto City Glass. I called them up- the owner was very professional over the phone. He gave me the lowest estimate out of all the Auto Glass places I had called. I went in the next day. The car was finished in 40 minutes. Good as new. Cannot recommend this shop enough.”

“The guys at Vintage fixed my door panel and latch with a minimum of fuss. I was impressed by their courteous and quick service. Additionally I observed them explaining to another customer the pros and cons of a difficult repair and how the customer could best use their limited resources. Very good service!”

“ I had a problem with the lower hose on my radiator not getting warm and no heat ins tide which I thought would be the water pump so I called the local VW dealer and Vintage, who quoted me about $300.00 less than the VW dealer, took it to Vintage who agreed that it was the water pump and completed the job the same day as advised. They took time to show me what had happened and showed the bad part to me when it was replaced. The also took the time to show me other things that I should be aware of that should be taken care of in the future. I would highly recommend them as I think they are honest and trustworthy, which is hard to find in a mechanic.”

“ I've been coming here for some time now. Yes, a small shop can be more expensive than the dealership. You're also helping support a small business. Perhaps I have the luxury of thinking that way. Prices are always reasonable and the people I've dealt with here are ridiculously knowledgeable. I recommend it to anyone I know with a VW. Not sure what all the hate is about below.”

“I can't say enough positive things about the folks at Vintage Auto. My wife and I just moved here from East TN and we were looking for a mechanic for our 2001 Jetta. Our first call was concerning some plugged up sunroof drainage cowls. Instead of charging me $20-50 for a simple procedure, Steve simply talked me through finding and fixing the drainage hoses inside the door hinge area. (+1) Next, I needed some timing and general tune up service a couple months later. Steve went out of his way to help work with my schedule so that I could get a better idea of some possible tune up options. (+2) During multiple discussions neither Steve nor Donald put any pressure on me to bring my car to Vintage for a service. (+3) --Simply put, Steve and Donald earned my trust as true professionals. They understand that the strength of the business depends on the customer and they strive to make sure the customer always feels valued and treated fairly. As if I hadn't been treated like royalty enough, Donald was even kind enough to help me after hours just because he was familiar with the car and situation. (+4..Do you see a pattern?) I haven't been to all the mechanics in Greenville, and in my humble and honest opinion, I don't need to. I've found an honest and reliable mechanic that is devoted to their customers.”

I took a basket case of parts I purchased on the internet to replace a power window regulator after running into much difficulty. He modified the miss-match parts and made them work perfectly. He then restored the all the door parts and the completed the job to perfection. He saved me countless hours of work and was extremely reasonable. I will definitely use this shop for all my auto glass needs.”
